Presentation of startup projects held in Namangan

As part of his visit to Namangan Region, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov attended a presentation of startup projects being implemented in the region. In 2025, a total of 39 projects were registered on platforms such as Startupbase, Startup Garage and others, of which four successfully secured investments amounting to USD 378,000.

The following startups were showcased during the event:

ClixBio — an online service functioning as a link aggregator, providing structured and convenient access to online resources as well as biological and scientific sources.

IjaraSoft — an online platform designed to equip entrepreneurs with tools for publishing event announcements, registering participants, and sourcing required services for event organization.

DentaGo — a platform aimed at the digitalization of dental services, optimizing clinic operations and streamlining patient management processes.

Historia AI — a service for clinics enabling the rapid and automatic completion of medical documentation through voice input, thereby reducing administrative workload for physicians and accelerating documentation processes.

Melarium — a platform offering the purchase or rental of beehives equipped with real-time monitoring sensors, introducing advanced technologies into the field of apiculture.

Minister Sherzod Shermatov commended the practical value of the presented solutions, underscored the importance of comprehensive support for startups and the expansion of investment opportunities, and issued corresponding instructions to the responsible authorities regarding the further development of startup initiatives.

Following the meeting, discussions addressed strengthening the region’s innovation ecosystem, implementing prompt financing mechanisms for startups, and expanding opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

A localized version of UFC Fight Pass, one of the world’s leading streaming platforms for combat sports, has officially been launched in Tashkent. The new website, available at fightpass.uz, offers viewers in Uzbekistan live broadcasts of all UFC events, an extensive video library, exclusive documentaries, interviews with athletes, and more — now available in both Uzbek and Russian languages.
