The Ministry of Digital Technologies hosted an official meeting with the participation of a delegation from Accesa and its parent company — leading European providers of digital solutions banking and high-technology sectors.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, and Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan. The discussions focused on Accesa’s strategic plans to scale its operations in Uzbekistan and further expand investment in the national IT ecosystem.
The delegation included Felix Echelmeier, Member of the Supervisory Board of Accesa from Germany, Dr. Andrea Marliere, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Accesa from Germany; Rares Breaz, CFO and Managing Director of Accesa, overseeing the company’s business launch in the country as well as Gabriel Sobolu, CTO and Managing Director of Accesa, Alina Tirla, CCO and Managing Director of Accesa. Accesa officially entered the Uzbek market in June of this year. Following its initial operations, the company confirmed its plans for expansion.
Minister Shermatov emphasized Uzbekistan’s commitment to attracting leading technology companies such as Accesa and its mother company to enhance the country’s export potential and accelerate the digitalization of the economy.
Abdulakhad Kuchkarov underscored that IT Park Uzbekistan actively supports international companies entering the Uzbek market, offering services ranging from tax and legal advisory to infrastructure solutions and talent acquisition.
The visit of Accesa to Uzbekistan represents not merely a working trip but a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening partnerships between Europe and Central Asia in the high-technology sector. The support of IT Park Uzbekistan and the government establish a robust foundation for long-term collaboration and positions Uzbekistan as an emerging regional digital hub.
