IT Park Uzbekistan and KITC Expand Dialogue on Digital Transformation and ICT

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, Big Data, and the implementation of ICT projects in Uzbekistan.

Founded in Seoul in 1999, KITC specializes in ICT consulting, information systems auditing, PMO, cybersecurity, AI, cloud technologies, and Big Data. The company implements projects for both the public and private sectors and participates in international digitalization initiatives.

During the meeting, KITC representatives shared their experience in implementing digital transformation projects in Uzbekistan and other countries. The company also noted that it currently has ongoing projects in Uzbekistan and several Central Asian countries and is exploring the possibility of opening its own office in Uzbekistan.

IT Park Uzbekistan invited the company to consider obtaining IT Park member status and developing regional projects through an office in Uzbekistan with the involvement of local specialists. KITC representatives were also provided with detailed information on the opportunities offered by Enterprise Uzbekistan and the Zero Risk program, which is designed to reduce costs and risks for foreign companies entering the Uzbek market. This approach could support KITC’s broader presence in the region while creating new opportunities for local IT talent.

The parties also considered opportunities for joint work in e-government, Smart City, education, healthcare, transport, and government information systems.

Potential cooperation models involving local technology companies as implementation partners, technology providers, subcontractors, and solution developers were also discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the potential launch of joint pilot projects and technical workshops in AI, cloud solutions, and data platforms, as well as cooperation with IT Park members to participate in joint tenders and implement ICT projects in Uzbekistan and international markets.

Following the meeting, the parties identified areas for further dialogue and the development of practical cooperation formats between IT Park Uzbekistan, KITC, and Uzbekistan’s technology companies.
