During the meeting, Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and the management of EAST GAMES discussed the company’s further development, as well as opportunities to advance Uzbekistan’s GameDev industry and local companies, strengthen the export potential of studios, and expand their presence in international markets.
GameDev is increasingly developing not only as part of the creative industries, but also as a promising sector that can contribute to the growth of digital product exports and access to new international markets.
The meeting covered potential areas of IT Park Uzbekistan’s support for the further development of EAST GAMES, the implementation of new projects, and the company’s expansion into international markets.
Particular attention was given to developing a support system for GameDev projects, from incubation and acceleration to preparing teams to work with publishers and investors.
The parties also considered additional mechanisms that could enable early-stage studios to test their products, assess market potential, and prepare for further scaling.
The discussions also focused on strengthening the export potential of local GameDev companies and supporting their entry into new international markets, as well as expanding their participation in international exhibitions, conferences, and business missions. In this context, the parties also reviewed opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan to support EAST GAMES’ participation in international platforms and facilitate the expansion of its engagement with foreign partners.
Participation in such international platforms could provide local studios with additional opportunities to expand connections with foreign partners, publishers, and investors, showcase their products in international markets, and explore new business opportunities.
The meeting also addressed the identification of promising GameDev teams operating in the regions and their engagement in IT Park Uzbekistan support programs.
Following the meeting, IT Park Uzbekistan and EAST GAMES outlined areas of cooperation aimed at developing the GameDev ecosystem, expanding the export opportunities of local companies, and preparing studios for international market entry. The parties also plan to continue cooperation aimed at supporting EAST GAMES’ development and expanding its export activities.
