Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation from AGCC, led by Gemma John, CEO of AGCC Korea. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the development of the startup ecosystem, the organization of joint acceleration programs, and the hosting of international competitions.
AGCC (Global Innovation Partner) is an international platform dedicated to fostering startup growth, with its headquarters in Dubai (UAE) and representative offices in Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Berlin. The organization specializes in deep tech, artificial intelligence, and innovation, providing acceleration programs, mentorship, and strategic guidance. Among AGCC’s partners are DMCC, IBM Consulting, Builder.ai, and KISED. To date, the organization has supported more than 50 startups through eight programs, receiving thousands of applications from around the world.
During the meeting, Gemma John presented AGCC’s activities and underscored the significance of Uzbekistan as a new destination for international startups. The parties also discussed prospects for startup exchange programs, the organization of joint AI challenges and acceleration initiatives, as well as projects in the field of sustainable innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence. Particular attention was given to the potential launch of educational and mentorship programs with the support of IT Park Uzbekistan and AGCC’s international partners.
Cooperation with AGCC will enable Uzbekistan to broaden its international partnerships, create new opportunities for local startups to access the markets of Korea and the UAE, and attract the attention of global investors and partners to the country’s rapidly expanding ecosystem.
