From May 4 to 5, 2026, a delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan is taking part in GITEX Central Asia & Caucasus 2026—one of the region’s largest tech events, bringing together startups, IT companies, investors, and government representatives to foster digital innovation and international collaboration.
During the exhibition, IT Park Uzbekistan is showcasing solutions from its resident companies and holding a series of meetings with international firms and organizations. The program includes business negotiations, participation in panel sessions, and presentations of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem.
As part of the panel discussion“The Digital Reserve: Building Regional AI & Startup Powerhouses”, Deputy CEO Lazizbek Khudaev highlighted the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s tech ecosystem, emphasizing its growing investment appeal and startup activity.
“Today, we have 22 active venture funds, and the startup ecosystem is valued at $4.3 billion. Total investments attracted into startups have already reached $132 million. There are nearly 950 startups in the country, including two unicorns—Uzum and TBC Uzbekistan. This is not a market to simply observe—it is a market to enter and grow with,”
Lazizbek Khudaev stated.
He also outlined key priorities such as supporting startups through the Digital Startups Program, building international partnerships with organizations like Plug and Play Tech Center, and advancing AI development. Currently, over 200 AI projects are being implemented in Uzbekistan, alongside the development of infrastructure—including new data centers—to scale these initiatives.
Nine IT Park resident companies are participating in the exhibition, including AI Kraft, Balcomsoft, UZINFOCOM, Fonus Kids, GetMobi, SMC, RealSoft, PromptLab, and Robosell. In addition, 10 more companies from IT Park’s Syrdarya regional branch are attending as guests.
Some resident companies are also actively involved in the event’s business program. Notably, Robosell is presenting its project on the Elevate stage during a Tech Talk session, while GetMobi secured second place in the international startup competition Supernova Pitch.
Alongside the exhibition, the delegation is holding meetings with international and regional players such as Astana Hub, Agesta AI, Akashi Data Center, and Rainmaking. The focus is on building partnerships, attracting foreign companies to Uzbekistan, and launching joint projects.
Participation in GITEX Central Asia & Caucasus 2026 reflects IT Park Uzbekistan’s strategic focus on developing the country’s startup ecosystem. By showcasing a portfolio of resident companies in AI, fintech, e-commerce, and GovTech on an international stage, IT Park is opening access to investors, partners, and new markets.
GITEX serves as an important step in scaling Uzbek startups and helping them enter the global arena. It also supports integration into the international tech landscape, boosts export potential, and fosters sustainable business relationships that can evolve into investments and joint ventures.
