The partnership between IT Park Uzbekistan and HTP Kyrgyzstan dates back to 2021, when the organizations signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Since then, they have implemented a number of joint initiatives, exchanged expertise in developing technology ecosystems, supported the export of IT services, and strengthened the region's international presence.
Today, HTP Kyrgyzstan brings together more than 450 IT companies employing approximately 3,000 professionals. More than 90% of the revenue generated by resident companies comes from software development and IT services exports to North America, Europe, and Asia. HTP Kyrgyzstan also offers one of the most competitive tax regimes for IT companies in Central Asia.
During the meeting, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan invited HTP Kyrgyzstan to join the Central Eurasia Innovation Hubs initiative, which brings together the region's leading innovation ecosystems. The parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in developing regional innovation ecosystems, supporting technology hubs beyond capital cities, nurturing highly skilled talent, and attracting investment into high-tech projects.
The discussion also focused on joint efforts to attract international technology companies, investors, and strategic partners, while promoting Central Asia as an emerging destination for IT business and global business services.
Following the meeting, IT Park Uzbekistan and HTP Kyrgyzstan reaffirmed their commitment to expanding their strategic partnership, launching new joint initiatives, and strengthening cooperation in the fields of the digital economy, innovation, and IT services exports.
