IT Park Uzbekistan and the Omani delegation agreed on cooperation in the fields of IT and energy

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation from Oman comprising leading companies in the fields of information technology and energy. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digital technologies and green energy. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish an office of Rihal Data Migration & Services in Uzbekistan, as well as to pursue plans for the construction of modern data centers.

The Omani delegation was represented by Abdullah Al-Saidi, Founder and CEO of AB Energy; Azzan Al-Kindi, Co-Founder and CEO of Rihal Data Migration & Services; Shavkat Pulatov, Managing Director of AAA EuroAngar; and Raad Al-Abri, CEO of Godoba.com.

AB Energy (Oman) is a company specializing in renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. Its core activities include thermal energy storage, mobile solar technologies, autonomous microgrids, and digital energy management systems for both corporate and public sector clients.

Rihal Data Migration & Services (Oman) ranks among the country’s largest companies in data management, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Its services encompass data collection, storage, processing, and visualization, alongside software development and IT workforce training. Its clientele includes Bank Muscat, Omantel, Petroleum Development Oman, and OQ. The company employs over 270 specialists.

AAA EuroAngar (Russia) is a manufacturer of prefabricated metal-structure facilities. Its products are widely used in the construction of agricultural complexes, industrial and logistics facilities, retail centers, sports arenas, and administrative buildings. The company’s principal clients include agroholdings, logistics operators, and government developers.

Godoba.com (Oman) is a B2B platform for corporate travel management across the Gulf region. The platform consolidates flight bookings, hotels, visas, insurance, car rentals, and group travel services into a single integrated solution, serving over 200 corporate clients in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in ICT and energy sectors. Rihal Data Migration & Services confirmed its intention to establish a company in Uzbekistan in the near term. At the initial stage, the company will recruit 10 employees, with the workforce expected to expand to 75. The company also announced its plans to invest in the construction of data centers with a capacity of 8–10 megawatts, designed to serve the broader Central Asian region.

The delegation additionally proposed the establishment of an IT Park representative office in Oman and expressed readiness to provide soft-landing programs to support Uzbek startups entering the Omani market.

Omani companies also confirmed their participation in ICT Week in Uzbekistan and conveyed their willingness to continue discussions during the Comex exhibition.

The agreements reached are expected to expand opportunities for Uzbek IT companies, attract new investment, and generate employment through the implementation of joint initiatives. These developments will further enhance the export capacity of Uzbekistan’s IT sector, strengthen the country’s position as a convenient destination for international tech outsourcing, and contribute to its transformation into a regional hub for digital innovation
