    Delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with major companies in the United States

    A delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Farkhod Ibragimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, visited the United States, where it conducted negotiations with international logistics, financial, and consulting companies. The discussions focused on the establishment of representative offices in Uzbekistan, as well as cooperation in digitalization and support for the national startup ecosystem.


    Meeting with the Kyrgyz diaspora: expansion of operations in Uzbekistan


    Representatives of IT Park held a meeting with members of the Kyrgyz diaspora, which included representatives of Bilato, White Red White, Justice Inc., and ABM TRANS. The companies expressed their interest in expanding operations in Uzbekistan and establishing offices in Tashkent, noting the advantages of a favorable business environment and proximity to regional markets.



    Following the discussions, Bilato and ABM TRANS expressed their interest in obtaining member status at IT Park Uzbekistan.


    SAM Express: project implementation in Uzbekistan


    During a meeting with the leadership of SAM Express, the parties discussed cooperation in the digitalization of logistics. The company expressed interest in transferring part of its Electronic Logging Device (ELD) service operations to Uzbekistan. SAM Express representatives indicated their willingness to implement a project involving the engagement of 50 specialists in one of the country’s regions under the Zero Risk program. A delegation visit to Tashkent is planned for October, during which meetings with representatives of Uzbekistan’s transport sector are expected.



    SAM Express is an American logistics company founded in 2012 and headed by Mirlanbek Murzapazylov (Mike Matz). Headquartered in Illinois, the company also maintains offices in Kyrgyzstan and Moldova. SAM Express manages a freight network with a fleet exceeding 500 trucks and generates annual revenues of approximately $150 million.


    Compass Holding, Nova Lines, and Romotana: strengthening cooperation with Balkan countries


    A meeting was held with representatives of Balkan companies, including Mihai Sava, President of the Moldovan transport company Nova Lines, Roy Dobrasinovic, CEO of Compass Holding, and representatives of the Romotana association, which is part of the Compass structure. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in freight transport, the development of joint projects, and opportunities for Balkan companies to enter the Uzbek market.



    Mihai Sava, Founder of Nova Lines, expressed his intention to visit Tashkent in October 2025 to conduct negotiations with local partners and explore the possibility of expanding operations.


    Nova Lines is a Moldovan transport company with annual revenues of approximately $150 million. The company operates in the international freight transport sector, maintaining its own vehicle fleet. Nova Lines collaborates with major partners in Europe and the United States and is actively building a community of regional logistics operators. The company has expressed particular interest in expanding into Central Asia and establishing partnerships in Uzbekistan.


    During the meeting with Compass Holding, discussions focused on the financial model of joint projects, including potential cooperation in dispatching and related services. The company outlined several priority areas for initial collaboration, including dispatching, technical maintenance and repair processes, cooperation with insurance providers, and financial and accounting services.


    Compass Holding is an international company with annual revenues of $150 million, providing transportation and financial services. It operates in truck leasing, financial support, and services for logistics operators. Compass Holding is well known for its support of small and medium-sized enterprises in the transport sector and for creating flexible solutions for carriers.


    Romotana (Romanian Moldovan Trucking Association of North America) is an association that unites transport and logistics companies from Romania and Moldova. The organization promotes the development of international freight operations, fosters cooperation between regional businesses and international partners, and supports joint projects in logistics and transport. Romotana serves as a platform for exchanging expertise and identifying new opportunities in European and Central Asian markets.


    Riviera Finance: supporting freight companies through factoring solutions


    During negotiations with representatives of Riviera Finance, the parties discussed the introduction of factoring solutions in Uzbekistan based on the American model, aimed at supporting transport and outsourcing companies. Particular attention was given to ensuring liquidity for Uzbek firms working with American partners, as well as to creating favorable conditions for the development of logistics and BPO outsourcing.


    Riviera Finance is an American company with annual revenues of approximately $50 million, specializing in factoring services. Discussions focused on mechanisms to support transport and logistics companies in Uzbekistan through financial instruments, as well as opportunities for joint projects in corporate finance.


    Wersirius Holding: establishing an office in Uzbekistan


    The meeting also addressed the company’s plans to establish an office in Uzbekistan and take advantage of IT Park opportunities, including tax incentives, visa support, and recruitment services. The parties agreed to continue negotiations on launching logistics outsourcing services, which would create new jobs and reinforce Uzbekistan’s position as a hub for international logistics services.


    The discussions also included a meeting with Filip Milivojevic, Director of Leader Freight Systems (Serbia), a subsidiary of Wersirius. Agreements were reached to expand cooperation beyond dispatching to include the establishment of sales offices. Mr. Milivojevic also expressed his intention to visit Uzbekistan with a group of Serbian companies to explore potential projects.


    Wersirius Holding is an international logistics outsourcing company established in 2019. It provides dispatching, accounting, recruitment, marketing, and other services for the transport sector. With annual revenues of approximately $150 million and a workforce of over 300 employees, the company operates offices in Serbia, North Macedonia, the United States, Venezuela, Colombia, and the Philippines.


    TTG: readiness to launch operations in Uzbekistan


    The delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan visited the office of Kyrgyz freight company TTG. Company representatives were introduced to the residency application process and the Zero Risk program, which generated significant interest in expanding cooperation.


    TTG is a Kyrgyz transport and logistics company specializing in freight operations across the United States and Central Asia. The company manages its own fleet and provides dispatching, brokerage, and logistics support services. TTG is actively expanding its international presence and has expressed interest in integrating into the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.


    Aravan Cargo: expanding presence and developing logistics hubs


    Negotiations were also held with Aravan Cargo, which is a current member of IT Park Uzbekistan. The discussions focused on urgent issues and proposals raised by the member. The company expressed its interest in expanding operations in Uzbekistan. Aravan Cargo aims to serve as a bridge between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz companies.



    During the visit, Aravan Cargo also introduced the delegation to a Moldovan entrepreneur who expressed interest in developing projects in Uzbekistan. In addition, Aravan Cargo proposed considering co-investment opportunities in several initiatives.


    Aravan Cargo is a major Kyrgyz logistics company, operating a fleet of more than 400 trucks. It provides services in freight transportation, forwarding, and the development of logistics hubs. As a member of IT Park Uzbekistan, Aravan Cargo is actively exploring opportunities for co-investment and new projects in Uzbekistan’s transport and logistics sector.


    As a result of the visit, IT Park Uzbekistan strengthened its connections with global players in logistics, finance, and digital technologies. Cooperation with American and regional companies will accelerate the country’s digital transformation and open new opportunities for Uzbek startups in international markets.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries.     Uzbekistan Launches AI Leaders 2026 Program with Stanford and OpenAI

    More than 100 executives from over 25 leading organizations in Uzbekistan have joined the AI Leaders 2026 executive education program, delivered in partnership with the Stanford University Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute, OpenAI Academy, and Silkroad Innovation Hub. The program officially launched on April 8, 2026. It is designed to develop leadership capabilities in artificial intelligence and aligns with the vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to prepare a new generation of leaders through collaboration with the world’s top universities. Participants include representatives from government institutions, financial organizations, technology companies, and educational institutions. Among them are the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, IT Park Uzbekistan, Kapitalbank, and other major entities. AI Leaders 2026 is the largest AI leadership development program in the Central Eurasian region. It combines academic knowledge with practical application, enabling participants to build a strong foundation in AI, master relevant tools, and develop tailored AI strategies for their organizations. The program runs for 8 weeks and includes more than 30 hours of instruction with simultaneous interpretation into Uzbek, Russian, and Kazakh. The Academic Director is Peter Norvig, one of the world’s leading experts in artificial intelligence. The initiative also includes participants from across the region, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye, bringing together more than 150 organizations. Upon completion, participants will receive certificates from Stanford HAI and gain access to the largest AI leadership community in Central Eurasia.
