Korean Megazone Cloud Discussed Opportunities for Establishing Outsourcing Offices with IT Park

Korean Megazone Cloud Discussed Opportunities for Establishing Outsourcing Offices with IT Park

As part of a business visit to the Republic of Korea, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the General Director of IT Park, Farkhod Ibragimov, met with the leadership of Megazone Cloud in the Republic of Korea. The meeting was attended by the company's founder, Lee Joo Wan.

Megazone Cloud is a Korean company, specializing in the development and support of infrastructure software based on cloud and virtualization technologies. The company excels in managed AWS Cloud services (MSP) and has maintained a leading position in the Korean cloud technology market since becoming AWS's first official partner in Korea in 2012. In 2023, Megazone Cloud reported revenues exceeding $1.3 billion and employed a workforce of 2,800. The company operates more than 30 subsidiaries and representative offices across eight countries, including the USA, Canada, Japan, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Megazone Cloud is already familiar with the Uzbek market, having previously sent executives to Uzbekistan to explore potential collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan. As a result of these discussions, Megazone Cloud expressed a particular interest in training young specialists from Uzbekistan to provide IT services for its clients in Korea.

During their visit to Uzbekistan, representatives from Megazone Cloud evaluated the infrastructure and technological development of IT Park Uzbekistan’s resident companies.

Megazone Cloud is considering establishing an office in the region, with Uzbekistan being a top priority due to the favorable business conditions, tax incentives, and a substantial pool of qualified young IT professionals. This factor is especially significant, as the company plans to train Uzbek cloud engineers according to international standards. The convenient time zone differences and the foreign language proficiency of Uzbek specialists will enable them to effectively manage Megazone Cloud's projects.

The establishment of a Megazone Cloud office would strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the outsourcing sector, stimulating the growth of international companies entering the Uzbek market. This initiative would also lead to the creation of numerous job opportunities as new outsourcing offices are established.
