On March 7, 2026, Bekobod district in the Tashkent region welcomed the opening of the Bekobod Innovative Youth IT Center.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, khokim of the Bekobod district Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov, chairman of the Supervisory Board of IT Park Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov, and CEO Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, representatives of the Tashkent regional administration, active youth, foreign guests, including James Vanger, head of the U.S. company Silk Road Professionals.
During the event, organizers held interactive sessions for young participants on IT literacy, robotics, innovation development, and startup pitching. Speakers explained how the startup ecosystem works, outlined the stages of developing innovative ideas, and shared opportunities for starting a career in the IT industry.
Participants of the IT Park Tashkent region startup incubation program also presented their projects. During the pitch session, young founders showcased several startup ideas, including Joymee, Med Mopp, USD System, Agro Trade, and Orzu Reja.
In addition, startup founders who successfully completed the incubation program were recognized and awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
The new center plans to launch educational courses in programming fundamentals, English for IT, computer literacy, robotics, and startup and innovative entrepreneurship.
In the future, the center will support the launch of new IT companies, help expand IT exports, and prepare local young specialists for the international IT market.
