Dalerkhon Nodirov appointed director of IT Park Ventures

Dalerkhon Nodirov has been appointed Director of the venture fund IT Park Ventures. Previously, the position was held by Azamat Karamatov, who has transitioned to the role of CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan.

Nodirov brings extensive experience in venture capital and technology development. From 2022 to 2024, he worked at AloqaVentures, where he contributed to building the firm’s investment portfolio and supporting the growth of the startup ecosystem.

From 2024 to 2026, he served as Deputy Director for Investments at IT Park Ventures, where he oversaw the fund’s key investment areas. In 2026, he continued in a leadership role as Deputy Director for M&A, focusing on strategic transactions, scaling portfolio companies, and developing partnerships.

    Fund Performance

By the end of 2025, IT Park Ventures had built a portfolio of around 70 startups operating in more than 15 countries.

The fund follows a hybrid model: 38 startups received direct investment, while around 30 joined through partnership programs, including acceleration, go-to-market, and scale-up initiatives implemented in collaboration with international and regional partners.

The fund’s key investment sectors include FinTech, EdTech, SaaS, and AI.

IT Park Ventures also actively collaborates with international partners and participates in co-investment deals. Its co-investors include more than 30 organizations, such as Alchemist, 500 Global, AloqaVentures, Plug and Play Tech Center, Purple Ventures, and others.

    Strategic Plans for 2026

In 2026, the fund plans to intensify its search for promising startups and talent, while strengthening support for its existing portfolio by helping companies grow, scale, and expand into international markets.

Investments will focus on key technology sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), GameDev, and other high-growth segments.

There will be a particular focus on early-stage startups (Seed and Series A) to build a strong and balanced portfolio.

The fund is also preparing to launch joint venture funds with international partners, creating additional opportunities to attract investment and expand into global markets.

The appointment of Dalerkhon Nodirov as Director of IT Park Ventures is intended to ensure continuity in the fund’s strategic direction, strengthen its capabilities, enhance its contribution to the development of the startup ecosystem, and attract venture investment to Uzbekistan’s economy.
