Uzbekistan’s Startups at Banks&Business Expo: Winners Announced

IT Park Uzbekistan organized a Startup Pitch Session as part of the Banks&Business Expo, bringing together representatives of seven leading banks of Uzbekistan, over 35 distinguished speakers, and 10 investors. The session provided 14 promising startups the opportunity to present their projects to panel of industry experts and investors and.

 

 

The Startup Pitch competition is designed to identify high-potential ideas and teams ready for growth and scale. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their ventures to a jury of experts and investors, gaining valuable feedback and recommendations.

 

 

The participating startups included: Organizm.uz, Uz-IRP, Horizon, FinFlow.ai, Candy Market, Screenix, Dasyor, 137 AI, LaCafe, IT Education, Elektron Kundalik, Smart Menu, BITZ, and Deloro Network.

 

 

Projects were evaluated based on several key criteria: innovativeness of the idea, viability of the business model, quality of the presentation, market potential, competence of the team. 

 

 

The jury consisted of representatives from venture capital firms and industry leaders, including:

• Farrukh Maksumov, Managing Partner at Cs Angels
• Ilya Pavlov, Managing Director at Severstal Ventures
• Mirshod Shakirov, Founder of the international educational initiative “Business-Diplomat”
• Kainar Mardenov, CDO of Most New Bank

 

 

The winners of the competition were:

1st Place — Screenix

2nd Place — Horizon

3rd Place — IT Education

The Audience Choice Award was presented to FinFlow.ai.

 

The Startup Pitch Session served as a vivid demonstration of the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem. Such initiatives play a pivotal role in elevating early-stage ventures, attracting investor interest, and accelerating the country’s innovation-driven development.
