Uzbekistan and Japan Explore New Horizons for IT Cooperation

 

As part of ICT WEEK UZBEKISTAN 2024, a meeting took place between representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by CEO Farkhod Ibragimov, and a Japanese delegation that included Ju Chun Huang, Co-founder of Peel Lab and investor at Zero Hash, along with Stephen Lin, CEO of Swift Launch, and Matthew Ansell, COO of Swift Launch. The meeting focused on exploring potential cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation.

 

 

At a recent meeting, discussions centered around potential collaborations between Japanese companies and Uzbekistan's fast-growing IT sector. The participants explored strategic initiatives to boost startup ecosystems in both countries, including plans for international events that would connect Uzbek entrepreneurs with Japanese venture capitalists and other investors. Uzbekistan's tech industry was also highlighted as a strong source of remote digital services to meet Japan's growing need for skilled professionals.
