Sonect has announced its entry into the Uzbek market following a series of negotiations with IT Park Uzbekistan.

Sonect's decision to enter the Uzbek market is the result of a series of negotiations and working meetings previously held in Moscow and Tashkent. Following this work, the company decided to launch operations in the country, focusing on recruiting Russian-speaking specialists to serve international clients. During GBSF 2026, Sonect also officially announced its rebranding and the commencement of its operations in the Uzbek market.

The company previously operated in Russia under the Teleperformance Russia brand, part of Teleperformance, a global leader in Customer Experience (CX) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). After acquiring the Russian business, the company continued its development under the Sonect brand, retaining its long-standing expertise in customer service, technical support, content moderation, Trust & Safety, and back-office services. The global Teleperformance Group operates in over 100 countries, serves clients in more than 170 markets, employs over 490,000 people, and had revenues of €10.3 billion in 2024.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the company's plans to launch an operations center in Uzbekistan, potential locations for its teams in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Fergana, the availability of qualified personnel, and government support measures for international investors and export-oriented BPO companies.

Particular attention was given to human capital development and training specialists to work with international clients. Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan presented the advantages of the IT Park ecosystem, including tax and operational benefits, well-developed infrastructure, and support programs for foreign companies opening service centers in the country.

The launch of Sonect's operations will be further confirmation of IT Park Uzbekistan's effectiveness in attracting leading international BPO companies and will strengthen Uzbekistan's position as one of the most attractive hubs for global business services in the region.
