Polish Companies Meet with Uzbekistan’s IT Park Delegation to Discuss Collaboration in the IT Sector

A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan recently held two  meetings with prominent Polish companies to explore collaboration and business expansion opportunities in Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing IT sector. This initiative marks a new chapter in IT Park’s efforts to foster international partnerships and positions Uzbekistan as a global IT hub for tech and digital services providers.

    Meeting with Software Mind

IT Park Uzbekistan engaged in discussions with senior leadership from Software Mind, a global digital transformation leader. Attendees included Software Mind's Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, and Chief Financial Officer. This meeting highlighted potential areas of cooperation within Uzbekistan’s dynamic IT ecosystem. The IT Park delegation provided an overview of the support available to foreign tech companies, including tax incentives, a growing pool of tech talent, and a commitment to fostering innovation.

Representatives of Software Mind expressed strong interest in exploring the market, particularly noting Uzbekistan's young, multilingual talent pool and the country's supportive infrastructure for tech development.

Founded in 1999, Software Mind operates across Europe, the US, and LATAM, supporting businesses through advanced software engineering and cross-functional development teams. Their teams drive digital transformation through cloud computing, AI, data science, and embedded software solutions. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to further explore partnership possibilities, underscoring Uzbekistan’s attractiveness as a new market for Software Mind’s global expansion strategy.

Connecting with La French Tech Association

The IT Park delegation also met with Walid Barsali, President of La French Tech Association and CEO of Ballsquad, to discuss strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and the French tech ecosystem. La French Tech is a global community of entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors committed to supporting French startups and advancing technology-driven growth.

In this productive session, Mr. Barsali and IT Park representatives discussed collaboration opportunities between La French Tech’s network and Uzbekistan’s tech sector. Additionally, Ballsquad expressed interest in exploring local talent in Uzbekistan, recognizing the country’s skilled workforce and growth potential in the tech and digital service fields. The meeting underscored mutual interest in fostering innovation, investment, and talent development, and both parties committed to taking further steps toward realizing these opportunities.

La French Tech Association is a global network that unites French startups, tech innovators, and investors. By supporting the growth of tech communities worldwide, La French Tech promotes digital transformation, global expansion, and the exchange of knowledge and talent. Their network empowers French companies to thrive globally and fosters partnerships that drive innovation in diverse markets.

These meetings open new opportunities for Uzbekistan to attract foreign investment, develop a highly skilled workforce, and strengthen the country's tech ecosystem. Partnerships with global players like Software Mind and La French Tech not only create new jobs but also provide access to advanced technologies and international markets, positioning Uzbekistan as a promising IT hub.
