IT Park Uzbekistan Strengthens Partnerships with Leading Romanian IT Companies

As part of a recent visit to Romania, a delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan engaged in a series of meetings with prominent leaders in Romania’s IT sector to explore collaboration opportunities and establish strategic partnerships. Discussions focused on prospects for IT service provision by Uzbek professionals, highlighting the favorable business climate in Uzbekistan for ITES companies, including well-developed infrastructure, government support initiatives, and a substantial talent pool.

    Engagement with Evozon

During an initial meeting with Evozon, a prominent software development company based in Cluj, the parties discussed collaborative opportunities. Evozon representatives presented their achievements across European and North American markets, including successful cases in custom software development and IT consulting.

Expressing interest in Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem, Evozon was invited by IT Park to visit Uzbekistan to strengthen business ties and explore partnership opportunities with IT Park members.

Evozon is a leading Romanian company specializing in bespoke software development and IT consulting, with a focus on the European and North American markets.

    Meeting with Aareon

The IT Park delegation also conducted discussions with Alisa Frank, the Head of the Romanian office of Aareon, to explore opportunities for joint project development, IT service provision from Uzbekistan, and potential collaborations with local companies. The discussions resulted in an agreement to support IT Park in attracting further international ITES companies for collaboration with Uzbekistan.

Aareon, a prominent European provider of digital solutions for property management, offers ERP systems and smart solutions and operates with over 2,000 employees across six offices in Europe.

    Discussion with Cluj IT Cluster

During a meeting with Cluj IT Cluster, the IT Park delegation was introduced to the cluster’s initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration among Romanian IT companies. Cluster representatives shared examples of successful projects with European partners and emphasized their role in advancing innovation and facilitating knowledge exchange. The parties explored a potential memorandum of understanding (MoU) to lay the groundwork for collaborative projects and bilateral cooperation between the IT sectors of Uzbekistan and Romania, including professional training programs for the European market and support for startup ventures.

Cluj IT Cluster is a Romanian IT cluster dedicated to advancing cooperation and innovation among IT companies for the joint creation and promotion of technological solutions. The cluster comprises 90 members, including IT companies, universities, and research and innovation institutes.

    Meeting with Akindra Talents

The IT Park delegation met with representatives from Akindra Talents, a member of the Belgian Brainbridge Group, which provides IT staffing and management services on an outsourced basis for major international clients. Akindra Talents expressed a keen interest in Uzbekistan’s IT market and in evaluating the potential for sustained collaboration. In early 2025, the company plans to visit Uzbekistan to assess local IT landscape and is considering establishing an office dedicated to hiring talent to support outsourcing services for Western European clients.

Akindra Talents is a Romanian company specializing in flexible IT staffing solutions, part of the Brainbridge Group, which provides highly skilled professionals for global projects.

These engagements in Romania represent a pivotal step toward fortifying partnerships with Europe’s leading IT companies. The discussions have laid a foundation for forthcoming collaborative projects and opened pathways for deepening collaboration, ultimately contributing to the expansion of Uzbekistan's IT sector and its integration within the global technology landscape. The visit will culminate in the Uzbekistan Outsource Conference on November 14, which will serve as a platform to showcase Uzbekistan’s IT capabilities on the international stage.
