IT Park Uzbekistan Showcases the Country’s Technology Ecosystem at the Uzbekistan–Korea Digital Technology Dialogue

The event was attended by an Uzbek delegation led by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, including Alisher Abdusalomov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea, Jahongir Radjabov, Executive Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of relevant organizations, technology companies, and the business community.

As part of the program, IT Park Uzbekistan presented the opportunities offered by the country’s technology ecosystem, existing business support measures, its talent potential, and the instruments available to foreign companies entering the Uzbek market.

A dedicated session focused on the practical experience of international technology companies. PROTOTIE, a member of IT Park since January 2026, shared its experience of developing operations in Uzbekistan across AI-based matching, IT outsourcing, talent management, and international market expansion.

During the open discussion, companies interested in launching or expanding their operations in Uzbekistan received answers to questions related to business registration, obtaining IT Park member status, available support measures, and conditions for operating in the local market. Potential formats for further cooperation and joint projects were also discussed with companies that are currently exploring opportunities to work with Uzbekistan.

The program also included business matching and networking sessions aimed at establishing direct business contacts between Uzbek and Korean companies and organizations.

The areas of cooperation presented during the event included artificial intelligence, services exports, industrial digital transformation, IT infrastructure, data centers, technology talent development, and international IT projects.

As part of the event, AEGIS GLOBAL HUB and PROTOTIE were presented with certificates confirming their IT Park member status.

In total, the roundtable brought together more than 30 representatives from over 20 organizations and companies, including DGICT, Gyeongbuk Technopark, Korea Industry Intelligentization Association, Korea Productivity Center, Timonet, PROTOTIE, AEGIS GLOBAL HUB, Ventureport, Solutek System, ForEMDX, MANIAMIND, SaferZone, Pegatron, ITSCO, and other organizations from the technology sector.
