Within the framework of the forum, IT Park also presented a dedicated exhibition stand, highlighting Uzbekistan’s IT potential and the advantages offered to ITes companies.

Uzbekistan Strengthens IT Partnerships with U.S. Companies

The Uzbekistan-USA Business Forum placed particular emphasis on strategic cooperation in the fields of high technologies, industry, finance, and education.

Among the American participants were representatives from prominent companies such as Boeing, Visa, SpaceX, Morgan Stanley, HP, Coca-Cola, John Deere, GE Healthcare, Medtronic, and many others. Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, delivered a comprehensive presentation on Uzbekistan’s IT potential to prospective partners interested in establishing offices and outsourcing operations to the country.

Collaboration between IT Park and the United States continues to show positive dynamics across key indicators. In 2025, both investment activity by U.S. companies and the export orientation of IT Park members targeting the U.S. market have intensified.

The United States remains one of the primary export destinations for IT Park members. Currently, 353 ITeS companies are focused on exports to the U.S. market, exceeding the 2024 figure of 349 companies. These companies employ 10,343 specialists, compared to 9,755 in the previous year.

In the first quarter of 2025, export volumes to the U.S. market reached $68.8 million, representing a significant share of total IT exports. For reference, this figure stood at $212.2 million in 2024, and the current quarterly performance indicates a sustained level of international business activity.

The number of IT Park members with U.S. capital has also grown, reaching 55 companies compared to 49 in 2024. This includes leading international players such as EPAM, Vention, and Exadel, whose presence contributes to the development of export competencies and the standardization of IT processes in Uzbekistan.

Moreover, these companies have created 1,928 jobs, an increase of 270 positions compared to 1,658 in 2024, underscoring the steady contribution of American investments to the expansion of high-skilled employment within the country.

Advancing Cooperation Between Uzbekistan and Slovakia

Subsequently, the Uzbekistan-Slovakia Business Forum took place, with the official opening attended by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. The forum gathered over 50 representatives from Slovak companies operating in the fields of engineering, agriculture, energy, construction, ICT, and consulting.

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, delivered a presentation on the country’s opportunities for technology investors and international outsourcing companies. In his speech, he outlined the key benefits for ITes companies, ready-to-use infrastructure, available government support measures, as well as the potential of the local talent pool, and promising areas for collaboration in innovation and digitalization.

"Uzbekistan is emerging as a major IT hub, and we see tremendous potential for cooperation with European companies, particularly Slovak businesses, in software development, outsourcing, and digital education. We are open to partnerships and invite companies to explore joint initiatives," stated Abdulakhad Kuchkarov.

During the business forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between IT Park and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), which is responsible for attracting foreign investment and supporting Slovak companies in international markets. The document outlines cooperation in the outsourcing of IT services and mutual support for promoting IT companies from both countries.

The memorandum is aimed at strengthening partnership ties, supporting startups, and organizing joint events. The parties agreed to coordinate efforts in attracting investors and assisting companies in expanding to new markets.

IT Park continues to actively strengthen cooperation with the European Union and the United Kingdom. Currently, 269 IT Park member are exporting IT services to these markets, providing employment for more than 13,000 specialists. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, exports to the EU and the UK reached $31.4 million, compared to $91.6 million for the entire year of 2024, demonstrating steady growth momentum.

IT Park remains actively engaged in international events, positioning Uzbekistan as a reliable partner for technological and investment collaboration. The meetings held with representatives of leading U.S. and Slovak companies mark an important step toward developing new joint projects and expanding Uzbekistan’s footprint on the global innovation map.
