    IT Park Uzbekistan Explores New Partnerships and Opportunities at Singapore Fintech Festival

    The IT Park delegation made significant strides during the Singapore Fintech Festival, engaging in a series of productive meetings that showcased Uzbekistan's growing appeal as a hub for innovation and investment. These strategic discussions with global leaders and tech companies highlighted collaborative opportunities to support the burgeoning startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan.

     

    Meeting with Hian Goh, Founding Partner of Openspace Ventures

     

    The IT Park delegation met with Hian Goh, the founding partner of Openspace Ventures, a leading venture capital firm known for investing in technology and digital platforms. With 25 years of experience in venture capital and the startup ecosystem, Hian provided valuable insights and expressed a strong interest in visiting Uzbekistan during upcoming events. He also offered to support IT Park in developing the Uzbek startup ecosystem further and connecting it with key players in Singapore's vibrant tech network. Both parties agreed to explore potential collaborative initiatives that could foster growth and innovation.

     

     

    Openspace Ventures specializes in early-stage investments and scaling high-potential startups, particularly in the technology sector.

     

    Engagement with 3Si Pte Ltd on Digital Transformation

     

    During the festival, the IT Park delegation engaged in an in-depth discussion with 3Si Pte Ltd, a company recognized for implementing advanced digitalization and safety solutions across six countries. 3Si presented a tailored digital transformation program designed for the Uzbekistan government and local enterprises. The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to stay in contact and plan follow-up discussions.

    Discussion with Mr. Rudy Fang, Sales Director of Digital Business

     

    A meeting with Mr. Rudy Fang, Sales Director of Digital Business, revealed his plans to establish an IT company under the auspices of IT Park in Uzbekistan. The proposed company will focus on innovative IT solutions for local and international markets.

     

     

    Additionally, Mr. Fang plans to invite partners from the ASEAN region to join his efforts in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in acting as an agent for IT Park in Southeast Asia. His extensive network and experience are expected to be instrumental in attracting talent and investment. Mr. Fang's visit to Uzbekistan is scheduled for January 2025, during which he will meet with senior IT Park managers to discuss potential partnerships and strategic initiatives.

     

    Discussion with Alexander S., Head of LIBERNETIX in Latvia

     

    The delegation also met with Alexander S., the head of LIBERNETIX, a prominent money transaction company in Latvia. The conversation centered on establishing a business presence in Uzbekistan, which aligns with LIBERNETIX’s strategic goal of expanding into emerging markets.

     

     

    Both sides acknowledged the potential for collaboration. This partnership would involve technology sharing, joint ventures, and leveraging local expertise to navigate regulatory requirements.

     

    LIBERNETIX specializes in secure and efficient money transaction solutions, aiming to expand its services into new markets with high growth potential.

     

     

    Meeting with Mr. Rajan S. Narayan, Head of Cyberbeat

     

    The IT Park delegation had a productive meeting with Mr. Rajan S. Narayan, Head of Cyberbeat, a leading money transaction company. Mr. Narayan expressed interest in expanding Cyberbeat’s operations into Uzbekistan as part of its strategy to reach CIS and European markets. The discussion highlighted IT Park’s tax exemption policy, which Mr. Narayan found highly appealing. He plans to visit Uzbekistan in January 2025 to discuss these opportunities in greater detail and solidify potential partnerships.

     

    Cyberbeat is a provider of money transaction services, focusing on innovative financial solutions and strategic market expansion.

     

    This comprehensive engagement at the Singapore Fintech Festival underscores IT Park Uzbekistan's commitment to fostering global partnerships and solidifying its position as a regional tech leader.     GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.
