    IT Park Uzbekistan Delegation Participates in Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024

    The delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan took part in the prestigious international exhibition Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024, held in London, where it showcased a comprehensive range of business opportunities and outsourcing project development prospects in Uzbekistan. During the exposition, the delegation highlighted collaboration opportunities for IT companies and presented investment possibilities for foreign investors interested in entering the Uzbek market and implementing innovative solutions in the country.   

    Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024 is the United Kingdom’s premier event for professionals in customer interaction, featuring over 100 exhibitors and attracting approximately 3,500 attendees. The event also hosted more than 80 seminars where participants exchanged expertise with industry leaders and discussed advanced solutions for challenges in customer service and contact center operations.

    As part of the exhibition, the IT Park delegation delivered a presentation for the attendees, providing an in-depth overview of business operations in Uzbekistan. Alongside support programs and a favorable business climate, special attention was drawn to the country’s multilingual talent pool. Representatives of interested companies emphasized the strategic importance of Uzbekistan’s advantageous time zone, bridging Europe and Asia.

    Additionally, IT Park Uzbekistan participated in the event with its own booth, conducting over 90 introductory meetings with prominent companies, including 8x8, Diabolocom, eGain Corporation, Eleven Labs, Inc., Emerging Global Services, Five9, FM Outsource, Halo Service Solutions, Intercom, KMS Lighthouse, Nextiva, Inc., PEAK Outsourcing, Pontica Solutions, QSolve, Redial BPO, among others.

    A significant focus was placed on Uzbekistan’s favorable conditions for IT-enabled services (ITes) businesses, promoting the nation as an emerging IT hub. IT Park representatives and international companies discussed programs and initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and technological projects in Uzbekistan. The negotiations resulted in agreements to collaborate on job creation and talent development, representing a pivotal step in advancing the country’s high-tech industries.

    8x8 

    The IT Park delegation engaged with the American company 8x8, a global leader in cloud communications and IT services with an annual turnover exceeding $700 million and a workforce of over 2,500 employees worldwide.

    Discussions focused on potential cooperation in areas such as implementing cloud solutions, IT consulting, and launching joint projects targeting new markets from Uzbekistan. An agreement was reached for 8x8 representatives to visit Uzbekistan next year to explore the country’s business environment. These initiatives are expected to create new opportunities for IT service exports and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the global technology market. 

    Diabolocom 

    The French company Diabolocom, specializing in software solutions for contact centers, held discussions with IT Park regarding the benefits of membership and the tax incentives offered in Uzbekistan. These measures create attractive conditions for reducing operational costs and focusing on business scaling.  

    With over 100 employees at its headquarters in Paris and clients worldwide, the company is actively seeking to expand its operations. Key topics included potential partnerships with local companies to develop joint projects and enhance export potential.

    Special attention was given to the prospects of exporting IT services and technologies developed by Diabolocom using Uzbekistan’s resources and infrastructure. Localizing processes such as technical support and adapting solutions for regional markets could serve as a foundation for entering new international markets. 

    eGain Corporation 

    eGain Corporation, a U.S.-based company specializing in cloud solutions for customer service and multichannel platforms, met with the IT Park delegation to discuss Uzbekistan’s human resource potential. With over 500 employees and an annual revenue of more than $90 million, eGain Corporation is headquartered in the U.S.

    Discussions focused on leveraging local specialists to support the implementation of chatbots and intelligent systems designed to enhance customer experiences. The company’s interest in Uzbek talent stems from the population’s high level of multilingualism, offering significant opportunities for global projects and international client support.

    Eleven Labs, Inc. 

    During discussions with Eleven Labs, a UK-based research company and leader in innovative technologies powered by artificial intelligence, the IT Park delegation explored promising avenues of collaboration.

    Particular focus was placed on the preparation of qualified personnel. Ideas were exchanged about organizing educational programs and training sessions for Uzbek specialists in machine learning and artificial intelligence. The discussions also included the potential launch of joint laboratories and AI development centers in Uzbekistan, aimed at exporting high-tech services and products. 

    Emerging Global Services 

    The American consulting firm Emerging Global Services, specializing in outsourcing and offshore solutions, discussed prospects for establishing joint outsourcing centers in Uzbekistan.

    This initiative aims to facilitate local companies’ entry into international markets, enhance their competitiveness, and provide access to global partnerships. The project is expected to create new jobs for skilled professionals and foster the development of outsourcing competencies in Uzbekistan. 

    Five9 

    The delegation held discussions with Five9, a leading American provider of cloud contact center solutions, employing over 2,500 staff across offices in Canada, the UK, Germany, Spain, and other countries.

    Discussions highlighted the potential for exporting software solutions developed jointly with local Uzbek specialists to international markets. The integration of artificial intelligence into client data processing and the creation of innovative technologies by Uzbek developers will not only boost the competitiveness of local talent but also deliver sought-after products to global customers, strengthening Uzbekistan’s position in the high-tech services sector. 

    FM Outsource 

    FM Outsource, a UK-based business consulting firm, explored collaboration opportunities in business process creation and outsourcing service expansion in Uzbekistan.

    The discussions emphasized the benefits of the Zero Risk program, which offers export-oriented ITeS companies free office spaces and equipment for up to 12 months, along with partial personnel cost reimbursement. Negotiations also covered creating new jobs, Uzbekistan’s infrastructure development, and the country’s strategically convenient time zone for seamless service delivery to international markets.

    Intercom 

    As part of its participation in the Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024, IT Park Uzbekistan engaged in discussions with Intercom, an American software development company. Intercom delivers services to global partners from offices located in Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom, with its annual revenue exceeding $200 million last year.

    The talks centered on the potential establishment of a back office in Uzbekistan, which would focus on providing technical support and customer service for the company’s global markets. Uzbekistan was highlighted as an appealing destination due to its advanced infrastructure, government support, and programs designed to enable international companies to operate with minimal risks while ensuring a favorable environment for their activities. 

    Nextiva, Inc. 

    The American company Nextiva, a prominent developer of cloud communication solutions and contact center management systems with operational offices in Mexico, Ukraine, and India, engaged in discussions with IT Park Uzbekistan regarding the feasibility of establishing an office in Uzbekistan as a strategic location for expansion. The company employs over 1,500 specialists globally and reported an annual revenue of $687 million in the previous year.

    During the discussions, Nextiva representatives conveyed their interest in conducting a comprehensive assessment of Uzbekistan’s business environment and operational infrastructure. They outlined plans for an exploratory visit to further evaluate the country’s potential. In response, IT Park provided an in-depth overview of its Softlanding program, which facilitates companies’ entry into the Uzbek market. Moreover, the discussions highlighted Uzbekistan’s distinct advantages, including robust government support for export-oriented enterprises, well-developed infrastructure, and a favorable business climate conducive to international investments and operations. 

    Pontica Solutions 

    During a meeting with Pontica Solutions, a company specializing in outsourcing and consulting services with offices in Bulgaria and Poland, the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation presented Uzbekistan’s investment potential and competitive advantages for the development of outsourcing projects. Currently, Pontica Solutions employs over 500 professionals.

    The discussions focused on the prospects of establishing support centers in Uzbekistan, including creating new job opportunities, enhancing infrastructure, and attracting and training local specialists in line with international standards.

    Additionally, the IT Park delegation showcased programs such as Zero Risk and Softlanding, designed to minimize risks for companies entering new markets, enabling them to concentrate on operational activities. The potential for long-term collaboration was also explored, aiming to provide high-quality services to international clients.

    In conclusion, the participation of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation in the Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024 in London marked a significant step in strengthening international partnerships and the expansion of opportunities for technological and business project development in Uzbekistan. The negotiations conducted with leading global companies are anticipated to result in the creation of new employment opportunities in the near term, as well as contribute to the professional development of local specialists. 

    The agreements reached and initiatives undertaken with international partners serve to foster a robust and sustainable ecosystem for startups and technological ventures, thereby reinforcing Uzbekistan's position as a prominent global IT hub.     GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries.
