Telecontact is a major provider of contact center services, specializing in customer support and service delivery for international clients. The company currently operates across three regions of Uzbekistan — Tashkent, Samarkand, and Fergana — employing more than 400 professionals in total.
As part of its next phase of expansion, the company is also considering Namangan Region as a potential location for a new regional office. Telecontact plans to create more than 1,000 additional jobs as it scales its operations. This growth is expected to be driven by the expansion of its regional network, the recruitment of local talent, and an increase in the volume of projects delivered from Uzbekistan for international clients.
The meeting also addressed the implementation of projects involving the processing and use of personal data. The parties explored the feasibility of delivering such projects in Uzbekistan in compliance with existing legislation and the applicable regulatory framework governing personal data protection and processing.
Enterprise Uzbekistan constituted another significant area of discussion. Telecontact expressed interest in its operating framework, as well as the opportunities and incentives available to businesses under the initiative. The parties considered the potential advantages of participation and how the mechanism could support the company’s continued expansion and the scaling of its operations in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close engagement on Telecontact’s further development and expansion in Uzbekistan, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the effective use of available mechanisms to support the company’s continued growth.
