IT Park Uzbekistan has launched the Local2Global program, aimed at assisting member companies in expanding their international market presence and attracting foreign partners.
The growing interest from international enterprises in Uzbek companies is underscored by the success of our members at the Tech.Expo, part of the Global Business Services Forum: 30 participants conducted over 60 negotiations with international guests, discussing the establishment of bilateral agreements and the implementation of joint projects.
To enhance partnerships with foreign companies and bolster export potential, IT Park Uzbekistan is committed to actively supporting its member companies in securing advantageous contracts and providing IT and outsourcing services abroad.
The first two groups, focusing on Japan and Korea, have already enrolled 25 participants. For these groups, the IT Park Uzbekistan team has organized a specialized two-month export program. This program includes assistance portfolio and visual attributes of companies, promoting marketing efforts on digital platforms, and conducting training sessions for the staff of member companies.
Furthermore, participants will receive support in organizing international trips and attending industry exhibitions and conferences in the targeted countries, enabling member companies to establish business networking and partnerships with client companies.
Upon successful completion of the program, companies will be facilitated in a trip to Japan and Korea, respectively, to explore the market and meet with potential clients.
As part of the Local2Global program, participating members are also offered financial support. IT Park Uzbekistan will reimburse up to 50% of the following expenses to encourage company engagement:
- Enhancing recognition or training from experts;
- Organizing visits of foreign partner companies to Uzbekistan to acquaint them with local operations and personnel;
- Participation in international events and conferences for networking and learning from major companies;
- Consulting services in export-related fields.
It is important to note that participants in the Local2Global program will have an export development plan established.
