As part of the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026), Jahongir Kagirov, Director of Export Development for IT Park Uzbekistan, met with Tim Vorbach, Founder and CEO of Emapta. During the meeting, the parties discussed Uzbekistan's potential as a new destination for the company's service operations, opportunities to establish a local presence, develop talent, and launch pilot projects.
Founded in 2010, Emapta is an international outsourcing company with more than 10,000 employees. Today, its operational network spans Asia, Latin America, and Europe, while its clients include companies from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. In recent years, Emapta has been actively diversifying its global footprint by exploring new markets for future expansion.
During the meeting, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan presented the country's advantages for establishing international service centers, highlighting its skilled and growing talent pool, competitive cost of doing business, government support measures, and opportunities to develop qualified professionals in partnership with universities and IT Park's educational programs.
The parties also discussed the possibility of launching pilot projects, establishing dedicated teams, and potentially opening an Emapta operational center in Uzbekistan. The meeting concluded with discussions on the next steps for cooperation, including the development of a roadmap and the identification of priority areas for future collaboration.
