Central Asian Innovation Hubs at INMerge Innovation Summit

The INMerge Innovation Summit, organized by PASHA Holding, has commenced in Baku, aimed at fostering the development of the innovation ecosystem by bringing together startups and investors. This summit serves as a platform for accelerating innovations among participants.

For the first time, the Central Asian Innovation Hubs alliance, established by IT Park Uzbekistan and Astana Hub in September of this year, was presented at the exhibition. As part of this alliance, eight startups from Central Asia showcased their projects and participated in investor pitching sessions.

Farkhod Ibragimov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, stated, "The Central Asian region holds tremendous potential in the fields of technology and innovation. The Central Asian Innovation Hubs initiative was created to unite the region's most promising startups and grant them access to international resources and investment opportunities. We are confident that through collective efforts, we can significantly enhance Central Asia’s standing on the global technology stage."

Magzhan Madiev, CEO of Astana Hub, further emphasized, "The INMerge Innovation Summit offers new prospects for cooperation and growth. Central Asia presents unique opportunities for the development of the IT ecosystem, and through the Central Asian Innovation Hubs, we aspire to transform the region into a significant center for technological innovation. This initiative is not solely focused on attracting investments; it also aims to establish international partnerships, unlock new markets, and encourage the exchange of cutting-edge technologies. We are confident that Central Asia has the potential to become a global hub for startups and IT professionals, and our participation in summits of this caliber marks a step towards achieving that objective. By uniting our efforts, we can transform the region into a vibrant and innovative hub that attracts global players and investors."

The following startups were among those presented:

    - OSON – A platform for swift and convenient payments, designed to enhance financial inclusion and integration.
    - RBoffice – A cloud-based solution for business process management, optimizing internal operations for companies.
