The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, along with IT Park’s team led by CEO Farkhod Ibragimov, held a meeting with the Romanian company Accesa, represented by CEO Dr. Andrea Marliere and CFO Rares Breaz.
Founded in 2004 in Romania, Accesa has established itself as a leading expert in IT services, specializing in software development, cloud solutions, automation, artificial intelligence technologies, and digital workplaces. The company currently employs approximately 1,300 professionals.
In June this year, Accesa representatives visited Uzbekistan to assess the country’s state support programs, infrastructure, and talent pool. During the visit, they also met with several local companies to discuss potential collaborations. After conducting a thorough analysis, Accesa expressed significant interest in the outsourcing potential of the region. The company plans to launch a pilot project in partnership with a local IT company in October to further evaluate the prospects and business environment in Uzbekistan. The success of this pilot could lay the foundation for the full-scale expansion of Accesa’s operations in the country by 2025.
This collaboration marks an important milestone for Uzbekistan in advancing the export of IT services to the European market. Through Accesa, Uzbek specialists will gain valuable experience working on international projects, significantly enhancing their professional expertise. Additionally, the opportunity for remote work from any part of Uzbekistan will broaden access to global projects for a wide range of specialists across the country.
