One of the topics discussed was building teams for FinTech projects. Vention representatives noted that when engaging specialists for certain financial technology projects, the company encounters questions related to the religious beliefs of some employees and candidates.
In this regard, the parties discussed the possibility of conducting additional explanatory work with the involvement of relevant organizations and subject-matter experts to provide greater clarity regarding specialists’ participation in such projects.
Particular attention was given to cooperation with international clients and the promotion of Uzbekistan as a location for technology projects. Vention is working with potential clients in the United States and Europe, while some customers remain cautious about placing projects with the company’s Uzbekistan office.
To expand engagement with international clients, the parties considered the possibility of organizing joint business activities and working visits to key markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, with the participation of Vention and IT Park Uzbekistan.
The parties also discussed the potential involvement of Vention’s Uzbekistan office in a project for a client from Latin America. In particular, they reviewed issues related to the taxation of cross-border services and the impact of existing tax conditions on the economics of international projects.
As part of further work on this matter, the parties plan to study international practices, including the experience of Kyrgyzstan’s technology ecosystem and mechanisms used to support export-oriented IT companies.
Following the meeting, the parties identified further areas of work aimed at creating more favorable conditions for Vention to deliver international projects from Uzbekistan, expanding cooperation with overseas clients, and strengthening the export potential of the company’s local team.
