Two Uzbek Startups to Develop Their Products with Google for Startups Mentors through the Silkway Accelerator

Two startups from Uzbekistan have been selected to participate in the fifth wave of the Silkway Accelerator. Starting July 1, these participants will embark on an intensive 12-week program focused on education and development.

The Silkway Accelerator is an annual acceleration program aimed at supporting startups and young entrepreneurs in Central Asia. It offers opportunities for networking, securing funding for their startups, and finding business partners or investors.

Among the 15 participants in the fifth wave of the Silkway Accelerator, two Uzbek startups, Al-Chiroq and UYSOT, are included. UYSOT is a digital ecosystem specifically designed for the real estate market. The project integrates a marketplace and CRM system, providing brokers and buyers with all the necessary information. Al-Chiroq, on the other hand, offers an efficient digital solution for mobile operators, aiming to replace traditional notifications with a user-friendly loyalty system that includes rewards, thereby increasing user engagement with operator offers. These startups will undergo an intensive program starting on July 1 and continuing until the end of September. The program includes regular workshops, meetings with business consultants, and master classes.

By the end of the program, participants will have learned to create effective business models, scale their projects, attract investors, and achieve sustainable growth under the guidance of experienced mentors from Google for Startups.

Uzbek startups have previously participated in the Silkway Accelerator.

In 2022, among all the Uzbek startups, only Avlo.shop was selected for the program. Avlo.shop is a SaaS platform for e-commerce that simplifies the creation of online stores with just a few clicks.

In 2023, Tass Vision and Billz participated in the program. Tass Vision, a B2B SaaS platform for smart security, specializes in data collection and analytics for retail stores, increasing its MRR from $24,000 to $35,000. The company also expanded its presence in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey and updated its mission.

Billz, a multifunctional platform for retail management targeted at small and medium businesses, includes POS, inventory management, CRM, analytics, e-commerce, and financial tools. It also entered the markets of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

Dildora Atajanova, with her project Dalatek, participated in the fourth wave of the Silkway Accelerator. Dalatek is akin to Amazon, but for fruits and vegetables. As a result of the program, Dalatek began collaborating with 400 stores and 20 restaurants.
