IT Park Uzbekistan Presents Uzbekistan’s Opportunities at Uzbekistan Tech & Outsourcing Conference in Paris

The Uzbekistan Tech & Outsourcing conference was held in Paris, bringing together approximately 35 participants representing over 30 companies from France, Monaco, and other European countries. The event formed part of IT Park Uzbekistan’s official visit to France and was dedicated to strengthening international cooperation in the fields of information technology, outsourcing, and technological entrepreneurship.

The conference commenced with welcoming remarks from Zahro Narzieva, Consul of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France, who underscored Uzbekistan’s openness to foreign investment and collaboration, particularly within its rapidly growing IT sector.

A keynote address was delivered by Ayumi Moore Aoki, Founder of Women in Tech, who shared her positive impressions from her recent visit to Uzbekistan. She emphasized the country’s significant potential in the digital services sector and its commitment to fostering inclusive growth.

Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, also addressed the participants, highlighting the country’s export-oriented strategy and key advantages for international partners — including a highly skilled talent pool, attractive tax incentives, robust government support, and a developing technological infrastructure.

Fayzulla Ulmasov, Representative of IT Park Uzbekistan, provided a comprehensive presentation on Uzbekistan’s capabilities as a reliable outsourcing destination. He detailed the wide range of support mechanisms available to foreign enterprises, including tax and customs exemptions, assistance in talent acquisition, provision of office space on preferential terms, and full facilitation throughout all stages of project implementation.

He also presented an in-depth overview of the country’s advancing infrastructure and level of digitalization, which position Uzbekistan as a competitive location for establishing technology operations and service centers. Mr. Ulmasov paid particular attention to the country’s growing startup ecosystem, underscoring the availability of acceleration programs, business incubators, and grant funding, which collectively offer additional prospects for international cooperation in the field of innovation and technology.

One of the highlights of the conference was the case study presented by Olivier Cesarani, CEO of OSIRIS.MC, a Monaco-based company specializing in warehouse management systems (WMS). Mr. Cesarani shared his experience of successful collaboration with Uzbek developers, where, within a year, a team of six specialists provided operational support for more than one million orders per month, primarily serving the French market. He noted that such success was made possible through the support provided by IT Park.

The conference concluded with a networking session, during which participants explored prospects for further collaboration and potential joint initiatives.

The Uzbekistan Tech & Outsourcing conference in Paris served as a pivotal platform for strengthening ties between Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem and European partners. IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to actively promoting the country’s IT export potential and building long-term international partnerships.
