    Borderless IT Outsourcing: Uzbek Companies Prepare to Enter the U.S. Market

    On February 10, 2025, IT Park Uzbekistan hosted a workshop dedicated to facilitating the expansion of member IT outsourcing companies into the U.S. market. The event introduced participants to the SCALE2US: IT Outsourcing Bootcamp program, an initiative of the Silkroad Innovation Hub — a premier accelerator and community hub for startups and IT enterprises in Silicon Valley, and a strategic partner of IT Park.

    The workshop was attended by representatives from Unicon Soft, Abbee Solutions, Greatsoft, Usoft, Insane Group, Qulix, UIC, Smart Chatbot, Berocker, Top Content, Udevs, Proximaops, Everbestlab, Progress Solution, Cloud Solution, Innovation Line, AI Implementation Group, Nomadian, Coming Studio, Consort Group, Profibook, Insoft, Jett, Cradle, Mimsoft, alongside other distinguished guests.

    Why Is This Important?

    The SCALE2US program aims to support IT outsourcing companies from Central Eurasia in entering the U.S. market, equipping them with proven sales strategies and facilitating connections with potential clients.

    During the workshop, participants explored:

    • Various IT outsourcing models (onshore, nearshore, offshore) and their advantages;
    • Key challenges in entering the U.S. market and strategies to overcome them;
    • Case studies of successful companies that have scaled operations in the U.S.;
    • The structure and content of the Bootcamp program, covering legal frameworks, marketing approaches, and sales strategies.

    Key Takeaways from the Workshop

    North America represents the largest IT outsourcing market, valued at $290 billion.

    The primary factor driving outsourcing is access to skilled professionals, not just cost reduction.

    Companies from Central Eurasia possess distinct competitive advantages, including a highly skilled workforce and relatively affordable salaries compared to the international market. However, limited networking opportunities and the high cost of consulting services remain substantial barriers.

    Overview of the Bootcamp Program

    The program is tailored for IT companies and IT outsourcing firms that possess a team of no fewer than 10 developers, proven experience in international markets, and strong technical teams.

    The program includes:

    • Online training modules on sales and marketing;
    • Practical engagement with clients in the U.S.;
    • A visit to Silicon Valley for networking and learning.

    Applications for the program can be submitted via the link (deadline: March 15, 2025): scale2us.com

    IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to advancing international opportunities for its member companies by fostering an environment conducive to business expansion and market entry. The SCALE2US workshop represented a significant milestone in preparing IT outsourcing firms for entry into the U.S. market, while knowledge exchange with industry experts will accelerate their integration into the global ecosystem.
