Prospects for cooperation with the U.S. company Cerberus Frontier discussed

The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with a delegation of the U.S. company Cerberus Frontier led by Managing Director Mikheil Nibladze.

The meeting commenced with a presentation from IT Park to the guests. The parties discussed the ongoing digital transformation processes in Uzbekistan, reforms in the telecommunications market, and matters related to attracting investment into the sector. The delegation also provided information on the joint activities of Cerberus Frontier and Unitel Group within the framework of Senior’s Capital Management, as well as their project portfolio in Georgia and Mongolia.

The Minister highlighted Uzbekistan’s rapid population growth, the favorable conditions established in the IT and telecommunications sectors, the available tax incentives, and the expansion of infrastructure. The parties exchanged views on infrastructure sharing and on the opportunities created for investors in Uzbekistan, including the advantages offered by IT Park.

It was noted that the meeting will contribute to the development of joint projects and the creation of new opportunities in this segment of the economy.
