Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Mahliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from South Korean company LOTTE INNOVATE. During the negotiations, the parties agreed to foster cooperation in IT outsourcing, the startup ecosystem, IT education, and digital infrastructure.
LOTTE INNOVATE serves as the digital transformation and IT services division of South Korea’s LOTTE Group. The company employs approximately 2,800 specialists and generates annual revenues exceeding USD 840 million. Headquartered in Seoul, LOTTE Innovate maintains international offices in Vietnam, the United States, and Indonesia, and has established partnerships in Mongolia and Myanmar.
The discussions highlighted the outcomes of pilot projects that LOTTE INNOVATE has been implementing jointly with three IT Park members. The Korean delegation commended the potential of these collaborations and expressed their interest in expanding the company’s presence in the region. Opportunities for joint educational programs and participation in investment initiatives were also explored.
Further discussions addressed the development of the startup ecosystem and the engagement of Uzbek companies in international IT projects. The parties also considered the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a potential visit by an IT Park delegation to LOTTE INNOVATE’s headquarters in Seoul.
This collaboration is expected to enhance Uzbekistan’s position as a global IT hub in Central Asia, expand international partnerships, and create new opportunities for IT Park members in the fields of innovation and IT services export.
