As part of the visit, IT Park Uzbekistan organized a roundtable discussion with participation from members of the delegation and member companies of the IT Park ecosystem. The meeting served as a platform for discussing the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s ICT sector, exchanging industry insights, and identifying promising areas for future cooperation between businesses from both countries.
The session was led by Lazizbek Khudaev, Deputy Director for Resident Affairs at IT Park Uzbekistan. During the meeting, he presented the IT Park ecosystem and highlighted the comprehensive support measures available to technology companies, including tax and customs incentives, talent development initiatives, business infrastructure, and export support mechanisms.
Particular attention was given to the opportunities available for foreign companies seeking to establish operations in Uzbekistan. Participants were introduced to the country’s advantages as an emerging destination for technology investment, digital product development, and the export of IT and business services to global markets.
A key component of the visit was a series of B2B meetings between representatives of the visiting companies and IT Park members. During the discussions, participants explored potential cooperation opportunities in software development, business process automation, enterprise digitalization, artificial intelligence solutions, AI Vision, and the implementation of advanced technologies across various industries.
The meetings also provided an opportunity to exchange expertise, assess complementary capabilities, and identify areas for future collaboration. Several participants expressed interest in establishing a presence in Uzbekistan and exploring the benefits available to international companies operating as members of IT Park Uzbekistan.
The visit of the Saint Petersburg business delegation further demonstrates the growing interest of international companies in Uzbekistan’s digital economy. Such engagements contribute to strengthening cross-border business ties, fostering international cooperation, and attracting new technology companies to the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.
