Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Ra’ad Alabri, CEO of Godoba, and Yamen Salem Said, Director of the Project Management Office at Almatar. Following ICT WEEK 2025, Godoba formally established its office in Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties explored prospects for sustained cooperation aimed at advancing the local IT ecosystem.
Godoba, founded in 2017, is an international online platform specializing in corporate and travel services. The company employs approximately 150 staff and maintains operations in Dubai (UAE) and Muscat (Oman), with annual revenue of approximately $10 million. Godoba delivers B2B and B2G solutions for enterprises and government institutions, leveraging innovative technologies, including IoT. Its strategic partners include prominent regional players such as Saudi-based Almatar.
Almatar, established in 2019 and headquartered in Riyadh, is a technology-driven platform in the online travel sector, providing seamless booking services for flights, hotels, and related offerings to both individual and corporate clients. With an annual revenue of $50 million (according to Apollo) and a workforce of 800, the company is actively expanding beyond Saudi Arabia, targeting Egypt and India, while exploring additional opportunities across the Gulf region.
During the discussions, representatives of Godoba and Almatar emphasized that Uzbekistan is considered a promising market for further expansion. The dialogue focused on integration with the local startup ecosystem, organization of joint industry events, and knowledge exchange in digital services.
The parties outlined plans for further cooperation. Godoba has already registered its enterprise in Uzbekistan and is preparing for active recruitment. In collaboration with UzOman, the partners intend to attract investment and expand operations across Central Asia.
The upcoming visit to Oman in November was also highlighted as an opportunity for meetings and strengthening partnership relations. The meeting concluded with an agreement to organize a follow-up session to deliberate on the specifics of joint initiatives.
Collaboration with Godoba is poised to generate new opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan in digital tourism, enhance international partnerships, and reinforce Uzbekistan’s position in the IT and online services market within the region.
