DataVolt Advances Uzbekistan’s Digital Infrastructure

Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Signs Strategic Agreement for Development of the State of the Art Sustainable Data Center with DataVolt.

This partnership sets the stage for the development, construction, ownership, and operation of a 10MW IT load Tier 3+ carrier-neutral data center, powered by renewable energy and integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for continuous green power operation.

The data center will be powered by renewable energy sourced from the grid, with an integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The BESS will store renewable energy during the day, ensuring continuous operation on green power during the night, complemented by grid renewable power. This innovative approach aligns with Uzbekistan’s sustainability goals and positions the facility as a model for future data center developments in the region.

The development of a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure is set to significantly enhance Uzbekistan's attractiveness as a destination for international investments and leading IT companies. This strategic initiative will drive innovation and support the growth of business startups within Uzbekistan's burgeoning technology ecosystem, leveraging the resources and capabilities of IT Park.

In line with Uzbekistan's sustainability goals, the project will utilize renewable energy sources, setting a new standard for data center developments in the region. This approach not only promotes environmental responsibility but also ensures long-term operational efficiency and sustainability, offering companies the opportunity to run their business operations with an uninterrupted power supply.

Furthermore, this initiative will strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as a global leading technology and innovation hub, fostering collaboration and providing a solid foundation for future technological advancements in the region.
