AKITA: Bridging Uzbek IT Talents to Global Opportunities!

Interest from Korean companies in the Uzbek IT market and local talents is dynamically increasing. The demand for Uzbek IT specialists fluent in Korean is booming, with the number of Korean members in IT Park Uzbekistan growing rapidly, creating new job opportunities for our citizens.

To meet this demand, the Korean Institute for International Industrial Cooperation (KIIIC), in collaboration with Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, is launching the AKITA — Academy of Korea IT Alliance (AKITA). AKITA aims to drive educational innovation in Uzbekistan by training global IT specialists based on the Korean industrial university model and adhering to international standards.

AKITA students will have access to the latest technologies and an innovative educational environment, working on real projects and honing their skills in practice.

In collaboration with the Korean Institute for International Industrial Cooperation, which unites leading Korean tech companies, AKITA will provide students with internship and employment opportunities in ITBizPark and other IT companies in the Korean market.

    Study Directions:

    1. Software Engineering (Full-stack, Web-UI, Security)

    2. Wireless and Broadcast Engineering (UX, UI, Web/App Back-end Development)

    3. AI (AI Software, Big Data)

    4. Information Systems and Technologies (IT Administrator)

    5. Design (Digital Content Planner and Creator)

AKITA conducts classes in the cutting-edge facilities of the Astrum IT Campus in Tashkent. Students will also have the opportunity to study at Yeungnam University in Korea after completing their first two years on the AKITA campus.

Intensive Korean language courses are integrated into the curriculum, ensuring students achieve professional fluency.

AKITA offers various scholarship opportunities, including full tuition waivers for outstanding students.

Admission is based on academic merit and a passion for IT. Interested students can apply through our website www.akita.uz

Graduates will receive a Korean IT Education Program Certificate (KOSA) and achieve fluency in Korean, enabling effective communication with future employers.

Graduates will be well-positioned for roles in software development, AI research, and digital transformation across various industries.

This partnership is a great opportunity to prepare Uzbekistan human capital for outsourcing to Korea, significantly increasing IT and services export volume. This collaboration promises, fostering mutual growth and innovation for both nations.

AKITA is poised to play a pivotal role in Uzbekistan's journey to becoming a regional IT hub.
