More than 100 executives from over 25 leading organizations in Uzbekistan have joined the AI Leaders 2026 executive education program, delivered in partnership with the Stanford University Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute, OpenAI Academy, and Silkroad Innovation Hub.

The program officially launched on April 8, 2026. It is designed to develop leadership capabilities in artificial intelligence and aligns with the vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to prepare a new generation of leaders through collaboration with the world’s top universities.

Participants include representatives from government institutions, financial organizations, technology companies, and educational institutions. Among them are the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, IT Park Uzbekistan, Kapitalbank, and other major entities.

AI Leaders 2026 is the largest AI leadership development program in the Central Eurasian region. It combines academic knowledge with practical application, enabling participants to build a strong foundation in AI, master relevant tools, and develop tailored AI strategies for their organizations.

The program runs for 8 weeks and includes more than 30 hours of instruction with simultaneous interpretation into Uzbek, Russian, and Kazakh. The Academic Director is Peter Norvig, one of the world’s leading experts in artificial intelligence.

The initiative also includes participants from across the region, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye, bringing together more than 150 organizations.

Upon completion, participants will receive certificates from Stanford HAI and gain access to the largest AI leadership community in Central Eurasia.
