From Market Entry to Digital Projects: IT Park Uzbekistan Holds Talks with Chinese Companies

During the meeting, representatives of the Chinese delegation presented their technological solutions and key business activities, with particular attention to the conditions for doing business in Uzbekistan and potential cooperation with IT Park Uzbekistan.

In particular, Mingshang Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Jurui Cloud Control Technology Co., Ltd. expressed interest in establishing companies in Uzbekistan. Their representatives explored company registration procedures, office infrastructure options, and support mechanisms available to international businesses through IT Park Uzbekistan.

Jahongir Kagirov, Director for Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, introduced the delegation to the development of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem and the opportunities available to foreign technology companies. Particular attention was also given to data center infrastructure and the potential for implementing projects in the digital technology sector.

Another key topic of discussion was the Khan Tengri Innovation Hub initiative, involving Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The initiative aims to support Central Asian technology companies in entering markets across China, including Shenzhen, establishing direct business connections, and developing partnerships with Chinese technology companies.

Following the meeting, the parties identified several areas for further consideration, including company registration requirements, office infrastructure options, and available support mechanisms for entering the Uzbek market.

The discussions highlighted Chinese companies’ interest in exploring opportunities within Uzbekistan’s IT sector and laid the groundwork for continued dialogue on specific areas of cooperation, ranging from establishing local offices to developing digital projects.
