IT Park Uzbekistan and Pink Packer Sign Memorandum on Launching Operations in Uzbekistan

The meeting was attended by Dalerkhon Nodirov, Director of IT Park Ventures, Daniyar Atadjanov, Representative of IT Park Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, as well as Jin Jeong, Founder and CEO of Pink Packer, and Jaeil Ryu, Co-founder and COO of the company.

The cooperation envisages the development of Pink Packer’s operations in Uzbekistan, the recruitment of local IT specialists, and the use of the country as a platform for further expanding the company’s digital products and services across the markets of Central Asia and the CIS.

As part of its planned expansion, Pink Packer intends to open an office in Uzbekistan and build a local team. The company is considering recruiting specialists in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Full-stack Development.

During the meeting, the parties discussed Pink Packer’s plans to enter the markets of Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries, as well as opportunities to develop and localize the company’s services in the region.

Particular attention was paid to the development of a SaaS platform for participants in the meat supply chain, as well as digital solutions for cross-border trade in the sector.

IT Park Uzbekistan presented the opportunities available to international technology companies planning to establish operations in the country, including assistance with business registration and obtaining IT Park member status, access to local talent, as well as support in establishing connections with relevant government institutions, research organizations, and industry partners.

The parties also discussed the company’s export strategy through Uzbekistan. Pink Packer plans to provide digital services to international clients from Uzbekistan, with a particular focus on the markets of Central Asia and the CIS. This approach will allow the company to combine local operational capabilities and talent with its existing international activities.

Pink Packer is developing TradeOS, an API-based B2B platform designed to digitalize international trade in meat products. The solution uses artificial intelligence technologies to match supply and demand, as well as logistics tools and data from IoT systems to monitor the cold chain and product freshness.

The use of these technologies is aimed at improving the efficiency of cross-border trade, reducing product losses, and addressing challenges related to quality control and logistics.

Cooperation with Pink Packer reflects the growing interest of South Korean technology companies in Uzbekistan as a platform for developing regional operations and exporting digital services. The creation of a local team and the development of the company’s solutions in the country may contribute to the adoption of new technological tools in the agri-food sector and create additional opportunities for local IT specialists.
