IT Park Uzbekistan and Academia Park London Discuss Startup Support in the UK and Türkiye

One of the key topics was the potential to promote startups from Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom and Türkiye, including establishing connections with investors, technology companies and partners, as well as developing soft-landing mechanisms.

The parties also explored prospects for cooperation within the London Hub initiative and the potential launch of a market-entry program for Uzbek startups interested in entering the Turkish market.

Particular attention was given to the participation of Uzbek technology companies in international events, including Money20/20, as well as the organization of business missions. In particular, the parties discussed the possibility of holding a program in Türkiye in the fourth quarter of 2026 involving five startups from Uzbekistan.

IT Park Uzbekistan and Academia Park London already have experience working together. Academia Park supported the participation of Central Asian delegations in London Tech Week in 2025 and 2026, including startups from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The company also supported IT Park Uzbekistan’s participation in the GovTech Summit in April 2026, while UZINFOCOM, with its assistance, received an opportunity to participate in Money20/20 Europe.

Founded in London in 2023, Academia Park London supports startups, scaleups and innovative businesses from emerging markets in entering the UK and European markets. The platform provides access to mentorship, investors, corporate partners, workspace infrastructure and international business development programs.
