Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Elyor Maksudov, Startup and Investment Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from Fujifilm System Services Corp., headed by Amane Inoue, Chairman of the Board. Following the discussions, the parties agreed to develop a roadmap for pilot projects in the fields of system development and EdTech, as well as to establish joint working groups in cooperation with Japan Digital University in Tashkent.
Fujifilm System Services is a Japanese IT company within the FUJIFILM Group, specializing in system integration, software development, and the deployment of cloud and infrastructure solutions. Its key areas of activity include data management, AI-based application development, digital transformation consulting, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The company employs approximately 1,684 professionals and has an annual revenue of around USD 840 million. Headquartered in Tokyo, it operates projects and offices both within Japan and internationally. The company also maintains an outsourcing office in Vietnam with more than 200 Japanese-speaking engineers, although a shortage of developers continues to limit the scaling of projects.
During the meeting, the Fujifilm System Services delegation presented its core areas of expertise — system development and integration, IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, data and AI services, digital transformation consulting, and BPO. The parties also discussed the possibility of establishing an offshore branch of the company in Uzbekistan to expand outsourcing capabilities.
