Discussions focused on developing IT and BPO outsourcing, attracting international companies, supporting startups, and expanding global partnerships.
On October 21, the Uzbekistan – Norway Business Roundtable brought together representatives of approximately 15 Norwegian companies in Oslo.
Participants discussed Uzbekistan's investment climate, opportunities for developing IT and BPO operations, tax incentives available to IT Park members, and prospects for establishing service centers across the country's regions.
A separate meeting was held with Jørund H. Rytman, CEO of SMB Norge, focusing on organizing B2B meetings, hosting joint business events, and strengthening connections between IT Park members and Norwegian companies.
The discussions concluded with an agreement to continue dialogue and explore concrete areas for future cooperation.
The delegation visited Oslo Science Park, participated in the StartupLab Summit, and met with representatives of Epicenter, an innovation hub operating in Oslo and Stockholm.
Discussions covered support mechanisms for technology companies, acceleration programs, international market entry, and knowledge exchange between innovation ecosystems.
IT Park Uzbekistan and Epicenter agreed to develop proposals for further cooperation, including startup support and the expansion of international networks.
The delegation also participated in the “AI, Technology & the Future of Food” panel discussion, which explored applications of artificial intelligence in agriculture, food production, and supply chain management.
Another highlight of the visit was participation in International VC Night 2026, organized by venture capital firms Inventure, Atomico, and nFront Ventures.
The event provided opportunities for meetings with representatives of Fieldmind, Officebite.io, MinBil, Skovinen, Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, and Rasulson Consulting AB.
Discussions focused on attracting international investment, supporting foreign startups entering Uzbekistan, and promoting the opportunities offered by IT Park Uzbekistan.
In particular, potential applications of Fieldmind's agritech solutions in the Jizzakh region were explored, while discussions with consulting firms focused on opportunities to attract businesses from Northern Europe to Uzbekistan.
Participation in Oslo Innovation Week 2026 helped IT Park Uzbekistan strengthen its connections with Norway's business community, international startups, and innovation hubs.
Future efforts will focus on developing B2B partnerships, attracting international technology companies, and creating more opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan members to expand into European markets.
