President of Uzbekistan honors IT entrepreneurs

On August 18, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On awarding a group of representatives of the sector in connection with Entrepreneurs’ Day”. In accordance with the decree, a number of entrepreneurs, scholars, and business leaders have been honored with state awards in recognition of their significant contributions to the country’s economic and social development. Among the awardees are members of IT Park — founders and executives of companies who are creating innovative solutions, introducing advanced technologies, and contributing to the growth of the Uzbekistan’s digital ecosystem and export potential.

The Order of “Do‘stlik” was awarded to Nikoloz Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan Ecosystem.

The “Shukhrat” Medal was awarded to:

• Ulugbek Rustamov, Head of Click;

• Muzaffar Karabayev, Founder of Datasite Technology and SiteLabs;

• Saidazim Burkhankhodjaev, Executive Director of ITF Group LLC (USA), a logistics company;

• Jasurbek Khodjayev, Professor at Inha University in Tashkent.

By a separate Presidential Order “On awarding the badge of honor ‘Active Entrepreneur’”, a number of IT Park members were also recognized for their achievements in ensuring sustainable economic growth, enhancing the production and export potential of the Republic, promoting the adoption of advanced innovative, green, and digital technologies, attracting investment, creating employment opportunities, and improving the well-being of the population.

The “Active Entrepreneur” badge of honor was awarded to:

• Shokhrukh Kayumov, Founder of Trusted Textile Marketplace;

• Alisher Isaev, Head of Sales Doctor;

• Otabek Jalilov, Head of Avrud.
