Codnity Explores Uzbekistan’s Talent Pool for Establishing Back-Office

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held a productive meeting with Oskars Kalējs, the Head of Recruitment at Codnity, to discuss potential establishment of the back-office of the company in Uzbekistan, with involvement of local IT-talents.

Codnity is a Latvian IT company specializing in full-cycle software development. Founded in 2020, Codnity has quickly established itself as a reliable provider of software solutions and digital products for businesses of all sizes.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the dynamic growth of Uzbekistan's IT sector, which offers an unprecedented business climate conducive to the success of IT services companies.

The IT Park Uzbekistan team provided Oskars with detailed information about the country's substantial human capital, highlighting the annual number of IT university graduates, which exceeds 25,000, as well as the presence of over 5 million English speakers.

Additionally, the Zero Risk program was presented, highlighting the minimum investment opportunity for the export oriented companies during the first year of their operations in the regions of Uzbekistan.

Oskars Kalējs expressed keen interest in opening an office in Uzbekistan to support the launch of a new product, Talzy. The next steps include internal approval processes within Codnity HQ, followed by another visit to explore regional opportunities, assess potential, and finalize plans for establishing a permanent office.

This collaboration could open new horizons for local specialists, enabling them to leverage their professional skills on a global scale and providing access to highly-paid job opportunities. It also has the potential to foster knowledge exchange, elevate technical expertise in the region, and further integrate Uzbekistan's IT sector into the international technology landscape.
