    Toppan Digital Co., Ltd. of Japan to Launch Joint Project with Uzbekistan

    A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Global Marketing Director Jamila Khalibaeva and accompanied by IT Bilim CEO Farrukh Rasulev, conducted a meeting with representatives of Toppan Digital Co., Ltd., including Executive Director Nobuhiro Iizuka. Akihiro Sakurai, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, participated in the meeting as well.

     

     

    Established in 2023, Toppan Digital Co., Ltd. has emerged as a prominent leader in the realm of digital transformation. The company is dedicated to providing digital transformation services for Toppan Group as well as external clients, including governmental banks. With a focus on developing digital strategies and pioneering business models, the company delivers state-of-the-art IT infrastructure solutions, facilitating the group’s transition to digitalization. Headquartered in Tokyo, Toppan Digital Co., Ltd. employs a workforce of 821 professionals.

     

     

    During the meeting, Toppan Digital representatives presented the company’s latest advancements in virtual reality (VR) and 3D technology and expressed a keen interest in collaborating with Uzbekistan. Discussions centered around a potential joint project aimed at creating digital replicas of the country’s historical monuments. Moreover, the company disclosed its plans to elevate the expertise of Uzbek specialists through tailored training programs designed to equip them for participation in high-tech projects.

     

    Toppan Digital Co., Ltd. also unveiled its intention to initiate a project in partnership with Japan Digital University in Uzbekistan, aimed at recruiting local talent for Japanese-led initiatives. Should this endeavor prove successful, the company is considering the establishment of an office in Uzbekistan.

     

     

    The meeting concluded with both parties affirming their commitment to ongoing bilateral collaboration and involving Uzbek specialists in joint projects under the support of IT Bilim. This partnership is poised to provide young Uzbek professionals with the opportunity to acquire international experience and enhance their skills on global stage.

     

    Furthermore, this collaboration heralds significant opportunities for Uzbekistan’s IT sector by facilitating the exchange of advanced knowledge and technologies, contributing to the growth of high-tech industries in the country and fostering environment for the creation of new employment opportunities in the IT sector.
