IT Park Uzbekistan Presented Uzbekistan’s Technology Ecosystem Opportunities to French and Other European Companies

Opening remarks were delivered by Nodir Ganiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to France; Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies; and Adrien Abécassis, French Ambassador for Digital Affairs and Artificial Intelligence.

During the event,  representative of IT Park Uzbekistan, delivered a presentation outlining the opportunities offered by Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem to international companies.

Participants were introduced to the country’s talent pool, conditions for operating a technology business, and opportunities available to international companies within the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem. In particular, the discussion covered launching and developing operations in Uzbekistan, recruiting specialists, business support, and the conditions available to companies in the IT sector.

The meeting brought together representatives of the French and European technology and business communities, including Eutelsat, Dassault Systèmes, Expertise France, Numeum, Skynopy, Hyperplan, BlueKobalt Infrastructure, Heartland Capital, Wilco, IFP Training, Naulum Solutions, as well as the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation with French and European technology companies, opportunities to enter the Uzbek market, and engagement with the local IT ecosystem.

The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in France, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and IT Park Uzbekistan, with the support of the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan. The Franco-Uzbek Economic Chamber served as a partner of the event and will continue its work to develop business ties between companies of the two countries.
