IT Park Uzbekistan Holds Meeting with Delegation from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

At the headquarters of IT Park Uzbekistan, Jakhongir Radjabov, Director for Business Development, held an official meeting with a delegation from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra (Russian Federation). The meeting focused on exchanging experience in digital development and support for the IT sector.

 

 

The delegation included: Pavel Tsiporin, Deputy Governor and Director of the Department of Information Technology and Digital Development; Galina Mikhailova, Deputy Director of the Department and Head of the Information Society Development Division; Larisa Tsulaya, Head of the Administrative Department of the Department of Education and Science; Maria Fedotova, Head of the Division for Cooperation with Russian Regions and CIS Countries at the Department of Youth Policy; Andrey Melnikov, Director of an autonomous institution of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug; and Igor Anfalov, Executive Director of the Non-Profit Organization “Digital Proving Ground”.

 

 

During the visit, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan provided an in-depth overview of the technopark’s infrastructure, its member company ecosystem, state support mechanisms for IT companies, ongoing efforts to advance IT education, as well as programs aimed at supporting startups and promoting the export of digital services.

 

 

Particular attention was given to strategies for supporting and accompanying IT businesses, sharing best practices in digital transformation, enhancing IT exports, and identifying opportunities for establishing sustainable ooperation between development institutions of Uzbekistan and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

 

 

As part of the dialogue, the Russian delegation proposed organizing a visit for IT Park Uzbekistan members to facilitate experience exchange between the two ecosystems.

 

 

Both parties expressed strong mutual interest in maintaining the dialogue and implementing joint initiatives focused on digital solutions, talent development, and cross-border collaboration between the innovation ecosystems of the two regions.
