IT Park Uzbekistan Expands Cooperation with Germany’s Technology Ecosystem

On September 15, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany hosted the Digital Uzbekistan event, bringing together representatives of Germany’s technology and business communities. Participants were introduced to the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, the opportunities offered by Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem, and promising areas of cooperation with Uzbek IT companies and startups.

During the event, startups Moneff, Geomotive, and OX Group presented their solutions to representatives of German businesses and technology organizations. Participants included Deloitte, Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), Start2 Group, German Accelerator, Delivery Hero, Voltscape, Bergstone, BRAYHT, and other companies, with whom potential formats of cooperation with IT Park Uzbekistan and Uzbek startups were discussed.

One of the key outcomes of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between IT Park Uzbekistan and Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), an international organization that develops innovation ecosystems and brings together startups, investors, technology companies, and other industry stakeholders. The memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the parties and expanding international opportunities for technology companies from Uzbekistan.

On September 16–17, the business mission continued in Wiesbaden, where the delegation participated in two events organized by IT Park Uzbekistan’s partner: the Schwarz Digits Partner Summit and the Cloud X Summit, organized by STACKIT.

During discussions with Schwarz Digits, the parties explored opportunities to promote Uzbek startups through the company’s digital platforms, marketplace, and acceleration programs. Representatives of Moneff, Geomotive, and OX Group also presented their solutions to the Schwarz Digits team and discussed possible mechanisms to support their entry into the German and other European markets.

In addition, meetings were held in Wiesbaden with representatives of Capgemini, Adesso, Materna, Rewion, and Protiviti. The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation in technology services, digital solutions, and engagement with companies within the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.

The visit to Germany continued IT Park Uzbekistan’s efforts to expand the international connections of Uzbek technology companies, providing startups with an opportunity to present their solutions directly to potential partners, establish new business contacts, and discuss practical opportunities for entering the European market.
