INMerge Holds Innovation Summit in Tashkent Following Istanbul Stop

The Tashkent leg of the INMerge Innovation Summit has taken place, bringing together startups, investors, and technology companies. The event is part of a Roadshow series leading up to the main summit, scheduled for October 8–9, 2026, in Baku.

The INMerge Innovation Summit is a global platform connecting startups, investors, and corporations. The project focuses on developing technological ecosystems and fostering connections between markets in Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. As part of this effort, the Roadshow series travels across various cities ahead of the main event.

The Tashkent summit brought together representatives from startups, venture funds, and major companies. Participants discussed the development of Central Asia’s digital ecosystem and the region’s growing role in the global market.

The program opened with a keynote by Kaspar Craven, a British leadership expert and international speaker. He emphasized that in today’s rapidly changing world, businesses must adapt quickly and rethink traditional approaches.

One of the key panel discussions focused on building products around user experience. Speakers highlighted the importance of integrating technology, data, and seamless services into solutions that become part of everyday life.

A separate session explored investment and regional growth. Participants discussed whether capital alone is sufficient to drive a digital economy. They agreed that, alongside funding, strong talent, clear regulations, and international collaboration are essential.

The summit concluded with a startup competition. The winners earned the opportunity to present at the main INMerge event in Baku. Screenix AI took first place and will have its participation fully covered, while UGC Market Uzbekistan and Redeem received partial support.

Tashkent has become an important stop on the Roadshow, demonstrating that Central Asia is steadily strengthening its position on the global tech map. Growing investor interest, the rise of local products, and active international participation all point to the region becoming an integral part of the global innovation ecosystem.
