Canadian company TierOne OSS explores business opportunities in Uzbekistan

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Paul Vedam, Founder and CEO of TierOne OSS Technologies Inc., a Canadian software company. The discussion focused on potential avenues for cooperation and the possible establishment of a representative office in Uzbekistan.

 

TierOne OSS is a Canadian technology company established in 1999 that provides software solutions for telecommunications operators and enterprise clients, enabling them to transform service support into a strategic competitive advantage. The company serves over 50 clients globally and specializes in proprietary AI-powered network service management systems and API integrations. TierOne OSS maintains offices in the United States and India, employs up to 200 professionals, and reports an annual revenue of approximately USD 18.9 million.

 

 

During the meeting, IT Park representatives presented the organization’s activities, infrastructure, and available support mechanisms for foreign companies interested in establishing representative offices in Uzbekistan. Special emphasis was placed on Uzbekistan’s favorable tax and customs incentives, simplified visa and work permit procedures for foreign specialists, and other support mechanisms. 

 

 

The discussion also highlighted the broader advantages of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem — including state support, access to a skilled workforce, strategic geographic location, and connectivity to regional and global markets.

 

 

Both parties reviewed the regulatory environment for foreign investors, benefits for IT Park members, and Uzbekistan’s growing IT sector. TierOne OSS expressed strong interest in the opportunities presented and agreed to explore the potential for future collaboration.
